Bring along your damaged or broken clothing, textile items, or electronics, and we’ll help you fix them.

Bring it, Fix it, Learn it – Every Friday!
Join us at our weekly Repair Cafés in Edinburgh Remakery’s Event Hub, running every Friday from 11am to 1pm. Bring your tech and textiles to be repaired – our expert Technicians and Sewing Tutors are on hand to guide you, share tips, and help breathe new life into your devices and clothes. Drop in anytime – no need to book! These sessions run on a Pay What You Can basis, making it easy for everyone to access practical repair skills and join our community of makers.

We keep these cafés running and welcoming everyone who wants to reduce waste, learn something new, and save money due to vital support from our supporters.

We couldn’t run our Repair Cafés without sponsorship from people and companies who want to help us keep repair skills alive and waste our of landfill.

A big thank you goes to our current supporters:

What can we help fix?

Sewing repairs:

Our experienced sewers can help with repairs and alterations to textiles and clothing items, such as replacing buttons and zips, sewing on a patch, mending a rip, taking up trousers or a dress, or fixing a hem.

Electronic repairs:

Our Hardware Repair technicians and volunteers can help with any kind of broken Tech including laptops, desktops, monitors, Macs, and game consoles. Please note that we cannot help with general electrical goods such as toasters, lamps, irons, hair straighteners, hoovers, etc, and are not able to help with software issues such as WordPress, Photoshop, etc.
These drop-in sessions are run on a first-come first serve basis so there’s no need to make an appointment. Whilst these sessions are free, if you can afford to do so you can help support this and our other community services with a small donation for each item fixed. This helps us to share more of these valuable skills and repair opportunities with members of the community who may not otherwise be able to afford them.
