2-Week Sewing, Mending and Altering Workshop, Monday 1st & 8th August 2022

Are you looking to extend your wardrobe, learn new skills, and save some money whilst also saving the planet??

Join our 2-week Mending and Altering Techniques workshop and learn practical ways to modify and upcycle the clothes you have so you don’t have to buy new!

This 2-part workshop will be running Monday 1st August  and Monday 8th August 2022 from 6 – 8pm.

Our expert sewing tutor will teach you a range of skills including:

– Sewing and non sewing techniques
– Simple garment alterations
– Techniques for mending
– Design basics and redesign processes

No previous knowledge or skills in sewing or textiles is needed to join this workshop, beginners welcome!

What you’ll need to bring 
Any clothes you have that need mending or altering, or any nice fabrics you’d like to include in your designs. We will also have a wide range of fabrics for you to practice all these new skills on!
